When is the next macbook pro model due? Roughly what time of year do apple release new notebook style computers?

Well the way to tell is look for new processors from Intel, at the moment the MBP is running Core 2 Duo processors, it has since Novemeber. That model is almost identical to the first one released in January 2006 bar slightly higher specs (bigger hd, more ram).

So v1 released Jan 2006, Ver 2 Nov 2006,

Apple might choose to launch a (rumoured) LED MBP with Leopard in the spring, but since it’s in the middle of the product cycle it’s hard to say, but Apple can be random.

It’s a safe bet they’ll be updated before the end of the year, if you’re planning on buying soon - wait for Leopard. =)

The new Dragonball: Raging Blast is coming out tomorrow, and its 50$ at gamestop and 60$ at walmart. How many weeks/months do you think it will take until the price drops to a reasonable price, since DB:RB is the same thing as any other previous DBZ fighting game but with better graphics.

I’m a DBZ fan, but not stupid enough to waste 60$ on the same thing but with better picture. So how long do you think it will take?

Hmmmm the prices tend to go down when the demand for the game has ended. So (just as an example) there is a good chance that call of duty modern warfare 2 is gonna be 50$ by next year because everyone will have the game. So maybe a few months I’d say? Likely sometime next year so you may have to wait a while. But then again, I’m not economist so I wouldn’t be able to give a credible opinion

I know its still new but theres always room for more. I know they will make a new one because they have released new versions of the nano and a second iphone so im just looking for a time frame. Any ideas.

Most Electronic manufactures will release their new product line in January during the CES show in Las Vegas. It’s basically the big Expo where all or most electronic companies get together to showcase new products.
Some products may trickle out to the public as the year progresses.

But if you were to buy a new radio today, chances are it would not be obsolete quickly. There would need to be a significant change in technology for that to happen. Most features in a most new radios are already up to date.

Well, Burn After Reading, was in my opinion.. terrible.
Tropic Thunder was brilliant, considering many scenes were improvised.
Ghost Town is completely HILARIOUS! The humour of Ricky Gervais will blow you away!
I would definitely go for ‘Ghost Town’, but it depends what type of genre you want.

Someone told me that they put them out right after midnight.I’m leaving work now so I was thinking of stopping at Walmart To get my This is it Dvd but I don’t want to waste a trip.Does anyone know if they really put the new releases out right after midnight?

I’m having a little trouble settling on a topic for a paper I have to write. I’ve just began my research, so I want to settle this before I get too far. Its for a Comparative Literature course, at 200 level focused on Women and World literature.

The essay needs to be comparative in nature, and 10 pages.

The topic I’m leaning towards is how fiction and memoirs offer a more impactful view due to how personal it is, so you can see through the character’s eyes, leading to better understanding by readers far removed of events that actually go on.

It applies to the situations in the novels we’ve read, involving women in slavery, in India, and in Iran where many norms are hard to really grasp for those in the Western world, especially when read from a textbook.

I’m torn. I don’t know if this is really all that creative. Or if its too common sense. Can it really be an impactful essay?

Opinions?

Also, I’m tossing around ideas like saying that fiction should be included in history, which is a more… controversial statement, perhaps more creative. I need to tie this in particularly to the womens rights in the novel. Perhaps how men will perceive it differently through fiction than textbook?

Also, if you have any good resources, please let me know!

I should be more specific. This isn’t my thesis, by any stretch at all. Its just the idea that I want to take my thesis out of. It’s a starting block, at best.

In particular I’m comparing the portrayal of the struggle for women’s rights in the novel Beloved by Toni Morrison and the novel Tamarind Mem by Anita Badami. I’ll also be including a couple short stories as primary sources.

I’m just wondering if saying that using a personal view to connect readers to history is more effective than using a classic textbook is too common sense, too broad.

I always lose marks on essays for lack of creativity. Is this a creative topic? Would this interest you?
Also, I know impactful is substandard English. It would never end up in a final draft. I’m an English major. I may have trouble finding a topic, but I’m not illiterate. Just somewhat lazy with my language on Y!A.

Suggestion #1. Get rid of the word "impactful." It’s not a word. Use important, meaningful, powerful, moving, evocative, whatever, but expect points to be deducted if you use "impactful."

It’s supposed to be a comparison. What are you comparing? Memoir to biography? Memoir to fiction. Memoir fiction to regular fiction? Shouldn’t you be comparing one piece of literature to another?

If I don’t send my movies back on Saturday, I’m assured that I won’t get a new release on Tuesday. Now when I miss this magic date, I won’t see that new release pick for two weeks or more. That delay has steadily been increasing this year. Why? I waited over 2 months to see Ice Age 3. Can you tell I’m angry with Netflix?

Netflix purchases a limited number of copies of each new release. They can’t possibly purchase one for every single person who has the movie in their queue. So they distribute the limited quantities and anyone who has it in their queue is subject to the system - if a third of people who got the new release first sit on it for two weeks, that means the rest of those who want it will have to wait longer until they can get it. Netflix uses some fancy tracking systems to determine who gets what when, and there’s not much you as the user can do about it except return your movies quickly and hope others do as well so that films move through the system faster.

Yes he wag caught in a sting operation by a news channel. It very shameful incident. That man was even considered for becoming India’s PM after Rajiv Gandhi’s death. At the last moment Narsimha Rao took over this post. Otherwise that man would had our prime minister.

Lust hasn’t leaved that man even at the age of 85. He has one 30 year old son named Rohit from illegal relations which he is not going to accept as his son.
